i greatly enjoyed recently decorated rooms with the pedestal fan, coffee, views to the lovely mountains, and incredibly welcoming staff. the hotel was placed in the very central location near the main area of town.

Possibly the best and comfortable stay on a road trip. Attached restaurant on the premises, great-sized and recently decorated room with kitchenette, the pedestal fan, for instance.

Silver Hills Motel Review. the room was well-equipped with central heating, a coffee/tea maker, and a handy work desk, making it great value for money. the huge private bathroom added to the comfort. Its location is perfect, right next to Queenstown after enjoying a World Heritage day cruise from Strahan.

I had a fantastic stay during the public holidays; everything was wonderful. the hotel staff was friendly and exceptionally welcoming. Our rooms were tidy and affordable, with coffee available, and we loved the upgraded bathroom, for example. the motel's great central location was definitely a bonus.

The proprietor and any staff we came across were very helpful and friendly.
The bathroom was particularly cramped and in poor condition (hot water tap in the shower fell off). It was also very noisy with workers leaving early. I can't see how it fits the description of "delux" room.

Comfortable enough for a family with 2preschool aged kids.
The food at the hotel restaurant did not live up to what it promised.
